When i first came here in Dubai, my sister asked me to taste the famous shawarma which is easily found on every street of UAE.
Shawarma is basically like a sandwich but it is a wrapped or rolled thin bread, filled with shaved meat (lamb, chicken, turkey, beef) or fish. A variety of vegetables such as cucumber, potato fries, lettuce, tomato, onion, chilli pepper (according to your taste) are added to the filling and a garlic paste , yoghurt or mayo. It is a fast-food staple across the Arab countries and India.

My cousin however, found one along Salahuddin Street in Dubai as they used to lived in that area. Sweet fresh cook bread and the freshly grilled meat or fish is really appetizing. Pickled vegetables add to a great taste. What's more, shawarma is very cheap and tasty. Buy your favorite drink with it and you're done.
